Who We Are
Organizational Mission and Vision
Unfulfilled aspirations have caused hardship
for many, especially those from economically
disadvantaged backgrounds. Societal structures
often suppress these dreams instead of fostering
an environment that supports them.
As a result, some abandon their aspirations and turn to escapism,
which can lead to greater regret.
In response to these challenges, Global Mission Services
Kenya (GMS-K) Charitable Trust was established to provide
a platform for identifying marginalized and underprivileged
children in Kenyan and international communities, aiming to
restore purpose through actions anchored in love.
Our Core Values
01
Holistic Empowerment
We address the whole child, recognizing that education is
achieved not only through feeding the mind but also by
nurturing the body with school meals, ensuring dignity
through menstrual care, and providing a safe, healthy
environment with clean water and sanitation.
02
Sustainable Impact
Our initiatives are designed for long-term success.
This is reflected in our environmental conservation
efforts, training local women's groups to produce reusable pads,
and building WASH facilities anchored in community ownership and
government partnerships for lasting change.
03
Dignity and Inclusion
We believe every child deserves to learn with safety and
self-respect. This drives our commitment to gender-sensitive
latrines, breaking the silence on menstruation, and ensuring
all children, especially the most marginalized, have what they
need to thrive in school.
04
Collaborative Partnership
We achieve more together. Our work is built on active coordination
with communities, governments, women's groups, and other stakeholders,
sharing best practices and leveraging collective expertise to create a
unified front for children's welfare.
05
Evidence-Based Action
We are committed to data-driven decisions.
Through rigorous Monitoring & Evaluation,
needs assessments, and learning from both successes
and gaps, we ensure our interventions are effective,
accountable, and continuously improved.
Small actions. Big impact.
These projects create visible change in West Pokot communities.
